Cherubim

Cherubim are winged, powerful spiritual beings described in Jewish, Christian, and Islamic texts, acting as divine attendants and throne-bearers for God. They are known for guarding the sacred presence of God, notably the Garden of Eden and the Ark of the Covenant, and are depicted with a variety of animalistic features like ox, lion, and eagle faces, as well as human attributes. While modern art often portrays them as baby-like figures, biblical and theological sources describe them as majestic and fearsome guardians.
